CRDC at the 2025 AACR Annual Meeting

Members of the CRDC team engaged with the cancer research community at the 2025 AACR Annual Meeting through collaborative sessions and posters.
Ina Felau, MS, presented in a joint session with colleagues from the NCI Office of Data Sharing (ODS) on “Enhancing FAIR Sharing and Reuse of Cancer Research Data.” She highlighted how CRDC supports the community through the data lifecycle, from the initial “Research Funding and Application” phase to the later “Data Retention and Sunset” phase. She also reviewed how all the CRDC components fit together to create a secure, accessible cancer data ecosystem that empowers the cancer research community.

Erin Beck, MS, co-presented on the Human Tumor Atlas Network (HTAN), which develops dynamic 2D and 3D atlases of human cancers. These atlases integrate clinical data with various molecular data types, including multiplexed spatial data (e.g., multiplexed immunofluorescence, spatial transcriptomics) and bulk and single-cell omics data. Her portion of the presentation, titled "Resources from the NCI-Sponsored Human Tumor Atlas Network," highlighted how HTAN integrates with the NCI's Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC), enabling researchers to leverage the full range of analytical tools and datasets within the CRDC ecosystem.
