The NIH Office of the Chief Information Officer and the NIH Office of Science Policy are hosting a webinar to review:

-- Key updates to NIH controlled-access data processes

-- User and institutional responsibilities

-- Steps for compliance

Timing and Registration (select either session):

Background:

In September 2025, the NIH published “Required Security and Operational Standards for NIH Controlled-Access Data Repositories” (NOT-OD-25-159), standardizing data access and security standards for NIH Controlled-Access Data Repositories (CADRs) and for users of these data. These updates, among other things, enhance user authentication and standardize security expectations for users accessing NIH CADR data.

Who should attend?

Researchers, current and prospective NIH CADR users, institutional administrators, and IT professionals are strongly encouraged to participate.

Submit questions in advance:

Attendees are invited to submit questions to gds@mail.nih.gov by Friday, April 10, 2026.
