CRDC 2024 Fall Symposium - October 16 & 17 - Registration is Open

The Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC) will hold its 2024 Fall Symposium on October 16th and 17th. This is a one-and-a-half-day event highlighting the CRDC’s 10th anniversary, the impact of the CRDC, and future plans. The symposium is open to the public and available for in-person or online participation.

October 16th – CRDC / ODS Session: Maximizing Data Sharing & Reuse for Cancer Research
Joint session with the CBIIT Office of Data Sharing (ODS)
Location: NIH Masur Auditorium, Bethesda, Maryland (NIH main campus)
Time: 1:00 to 5:00 pm ET
Highlights:
- ODS: Current work related to NIH’s Data Sharing and Management (DSM) Policy
- CRDC: Workflows related to the DSM Policy, including Data Submission, Access, and Analysis Resources
October 17th – CRDC Session: Celebrating 10 Years and Looking to the Future
Location: NCI Shady Grove Campus in Rockville, Maryland
Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm ET
Highlights:
- Updates on CRDC Data Commons, Cloud Resources, Analytical Tools, and Core Services and Standards
- Success stories demonstrating the use of data and tools available through the CRDC
- Report out from the CRDC AI Data Readiness Initiative and from CRDC collaborations with broader NIH partners
