The 20th Annual US HUPO Conference: PDC to Host a Workshop
The Proteomic Data Commons (PDC) team will host a workshop at the 20th Annual US Human Proteome Organization (HUPO) Conference to be held from March 9th through the 13th 2024, in Portland, Oregon. Registration for the conference is open.
The PDC workshop will focus on using PDC datasets and analytical tools for comparative analysis.
The workshop will be hosted and moderated by Xu Zhang, PhD, Program Officer, NCI Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research (OCCPR) within the Division of Cancer Treatment & Diagnosis (DCTD).
Speakers include:
- Bing Zhang, PhD, Professor, Baylor College of Medicine
- David Fenyo, PhD, Professor, NYU School of Medicine
- D. R. Mani, PhD, Director, Broad Institute / MIT and Harvard
The speakers will cover:
- LinkedOmicsKB for Proteogenomic Integration
- Connecting Tumor Histopathology Images with Molecular Features Using Multi-Resolution Deep Learning Models
- PANOPLY: From streamlined Proteomic Data Commons access to automated proteogenomic data analysis in the cloud
The PDC, part of the NCI CRDC, houses the largest public collection of comprehensive tumor proteomic datasets, with diverse data types such as proteome, phosphoproteome, glycoproteome, acetylome, and ubiquitylome, with accompanying genomic datasets and medical images.
As a cloud-based resource, the PDC collects, harmonizes, and hosts mass spectrometry-based proteomic data generated by NCI-funded research initiatives: the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC), the International Cancer Proteogenome Consortium (ICPC), and the Applied Proteogenomics OrganizationaL Learning and Outcomes (APOLLO) network, among others.
