Overview
FireCloud was an original NCI Cancer Genomics Cloud Pilot that was funded from 2014 until 2025. For over ten (10) years, FireCloud was a cancer-focused frontend for the Terra system, a multi-project / multi-dataset platform and set of services that support omics research.
While Firecloud is no longer available, users are still able to access the Terra Platform. The Terra system is a secure, scalable cloud-native platform developed by the Broad Institute, Microsoft, and Verily, an Alphabet company.
